There is a BIG trend happening right now with women of all ages, and it’s the trend of wearing sneakers as a fashion statement. Yay!!! It’s about time!!! We’re wearing our fashion sneakers with athleisure wear (of course), pants of all types AND SKIRTS AND DRESSES. Bottom line, casual sneakers are a fashion choice for just about anything you’re wearing!

You’ve seen me write and talk about the Walking Cradles’  line of shoes before. This fall they came out with Women’s Fashion Sneakers called the Metro Collection. They sent me the Osmond Black Leather hi-top sneaker bootie and I put it to the fashion test!

What shoes do you wear on a day you’re going to be on your feet? When I take my clients shopping I always wear my most comfortable shoes so I can be on my feel all day without a care. When I’m running errands or traveling, my shoes have to be supportive and comfortable as well as stylish. Many of you are chasing grand kids so you need an athletic shoe. If you’re like me, you want an athletic shoe that works like an athletic shoe, without the clunky look. With Walking Cradles, you don’t have to look like your grandma or sacrifice comfort to look good!

Take a look at the Osmond – a casual hi-top sneaker leather bootie with urban styling! Don’t you just love it?  I love the detailing: rich nubuck leather uppers that include goring to easily slip on and off. I’m wearing the Chico’s Declare Your Age Tee (gets yours here), Columbia sweatpants (similar here) and carrying my favorite Steve Madden backpack purse (similar here).

And they are so comfortable!!!! Walking Cradles has thought of everything:

  • Removable Tiny Pillows® footbed insoles massage your every step.
  • An antimicrobial sueded fabric sock and lining that are super soft and moisture-wicking, making it optional to wear a sock.
  • The non-compacting cushion bounces back after compression so the cushioning continues wear after wear.
  • The unit bottom is flexible and moves naturally with your foot and it includes built-in tread for slip resistance.

But the Osmond is not the only fashion sneaker in the fabulous Metro Collection!

Check out Orleans that comes in a snake print and lots of fabulous fall colors!

Or Onyx that is a casual sneaker with mesh and nubuck styling.

You’ll never feel frumpy in the fashion-forward choices that are part of Walking Cradles Metro Collection! Look how versatile this bootie is — you can confidently wear it with a dress, skirt, leggings, or jeans…

You can wear these fashion hi-top sneakers with a dress, as I am here. This is one of my favorite Faconnable linen dresses (similar here) that is easy wearing in warm weather.

I love wearing my Adriano Goldschmed, AG, ankle length skinny jeans with a flowy, silky top, like this Theory silk (similar here). Add a wide belt (similar here) and sunglasses, and this outfit ROCKS!

I’m wearing my The Territory Ahead linen vest (similar item) in brick red with a Free People tunic tee (similar item) with a pair of leggings. Notice how I’ve combined a neck scarf AND a necklace? It punches up the style factor!

Walking Cradles Metro Collection – Your Purchase Helps Others

Walking Cradles has partnered with Soles4Soles a charity that works to “Wear Out Poverty” by providing gently used shoes, job opportunities and more to poverty-stricken women and children around the world.

Walking Cradles will donate $1 for every purchase from their Metro Collection to Soles4Soles

A dollar per pair donation might not seem like much, but did you know that for each $1 donated, Soles4Souls is able to ship one pair of shoes to anywhere in the world? That means your purchase of any shoe from the Metro Collection equals one pair of shoes to someone in need!

Just another reason why I love Walking Cradles!
